Safeguarding

We ensure that every child who is a registered pupil at our school is safe and protected from harm. This means we will always work to:

  • Protect children and young people at our school from maltreatment;
  • Prevent impairment of our children’s and young people’s health or development;
  • Ensure that children and young people at our school grow up in circumstances consistent with the provision of safe and effective care;
  • Undertake that role to enable children and young people at our school to have the best outcomes.

The Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) is Mr Barber and the deputy DSL’s are Mrs Scorey (Deputy Headteacher) and Miss Debenham (EYFS Lead). If you have any concerns regarding the safety and welfare of children in our school, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

If it is outside school hours and you have a serious and immediate concern about a child please call the police.

Below you will find our school Safeguarding Policy which we review annually (or sooner if required). There are also some links to websites you may find useful.
