This year we have made changes to how we feedback to parents/carers about their child’s progress.  Rather than waiting until the end of term, we are holding Learning Conferences at a mid-point in both the Autumn and Spring terms.

Children’s reports will be sent home at the end of term as normal.  This new reporting system, which increases the amount of feedback parents/carers receive to five occasions throughout the year, will give parents/carers more regular information about how they can support their child’s learning at home.

 

These Learning Conferences, and those in the spring term, will be a chance for teachers to meet with parents without their children.  There will be a staff-supervised classroom in which children can wait for their parents if needed.  In the summer term, children will be expected to attend the parent/teacher meeting so that we can all celebrate their successes and progress together.

Sign-up sheets are outside each class for parents/carers to sign up for an appointment with their child(ren)’s teacher(s). If you are unable to get into school to do this, please telephone the office who will be able to help.
